Under the current fuels safety legislation anyone who installs, repairs, services, removes or maintains an appliance or equipment used in the handling or use of fuel-burning appliances or equipment must be registered as a contractor. Tri-Phase is a registered contractor, employing individuals who hold the required Petroleum Mechanic  (PM)/ Oil Burner technician (OBT) license and who may, without supervision, install, remove, alter, test, service and maintain any type of underground installation, as well as the equipment and accessories essential to its operation.

Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) –

The IICRC is an independent, certification body that sets and promotes high standards and ethics, and advances communication and technical proficiency within the inspection, cleaning and restoration industries. The IICRC also ensures that when consumers hire a clean trust-Certified Firm or technician, they have hired experts who will provide reasonable assurance that work will be completed in accordance with the industry’s “standard of care.”

Tri-Phase has been a long standing certified member of IICRC. Our staff have all been trained and certified as credited IICRC Technicians. Allowing you, the consumer, to know a qualified professional is working for your family/ employees and property. Certifications like these exist to help protect the property owner, employees and the environment.  

 

Health & Safety Accreditation Programs – Optional
ContractorCheck

ContractorCheck is an independent third party pre-qualification Health and Safety Accreditation program for contractors. In 2011, in order to meet both legislative and client-specific requirements, Tri-Phase underwent a complete assessment of its health and safety policies and procedures, training and insurance compliance. Tri-Phase has demonstrated its commitment to health and safety competency by completing this accreditation and by reviewing its health and safety policies and training practices. In addition to these measures, our company undergoes an annual review of policies and procedures to ensure all documentation is up-to-date and meets any legislative or client-specific changes to health and safety requirements.

ISNetworld (ISN)

ISN is a global leader in contractor and supplier health and safety management, and ensures companies have proper conformance and up-to-date credentials. In 2012, Tri-Phase underwent a review, verification and accreditation of all applicable written safety programs, accident/incident records, Workers Compensation account status, training documents and insurance certificates. All records and information is updated on a quarterly, annual or as-required basis to ensure compliance with all regulatory authorities and client-specific requirements.

BROWZ

BROWZ provides Canadian supply chain and contractor management. In 2015, Tri-Phase underwent an extensive review to ensure that we are safe, qualified and socially responsible contractors for pre-qualification that will provide comprehensive solutions to meet our clients’ needs. Our company undergoes an annual review of our health and safety documentation and procedures, risk exposure as well as annually monitoring our compliance with the regulatory authorities and client-specific requirements.
