Tri-Phase was retained to provide demolition and remediation services for a recreational facility in Toronto. The work involved hazardous materials removal including Type II glovebag removal of asbestos pipe elbows and straights and Type I removal of asbestos-containing floor tiles and roofing as well as lead paint removal and disposal. One of the challenges and objectives of the project was to sever three sections and maintain operation of the main building. Tri-Phase manually removed, cleaned and reclaimed bricks from the sections that were demolished so that the owner could use the reclaimed brick on future projects.
All work was completed on time and within budget.
