Tri-Phase heads to North Bay for a multi-storey demolition project!

Tri-Phase was retained by Ontario Northland Transportation Commission to provide abatement, demolition, and site restoration services for their bus garage located in North Bay, Ontario. These services were required for a three-storey bus garage building.

Tri-Phase first installed fencing around the perimeter of the work zone and set-up traffic controls. Tri-Phase performed cut and cap services of utilities to ensure safety prior to the start of any work. Tri-Phase then proceeded to perform asbestos abatement of ceiling tiles, vinyl sheeting flooring, pipe insulation, roofing material, tar and caulking throughout the building. Once the asbestos abatement was completed, Tri-Phase provided interior gutting of the building and disposal. Tri-Phase then completed full structural demolition of the building including foundations, slab on grade, and underground structures. Tri-Phase then restored the area by backfilling and compacting the excavated areas with Granular A and topsoil followed by a final clean-up.
