Tri-Phase undertook a comprehensive renovation to transform two existing healthcare rooms into a state-of-the-art endoscopy room. This project was meticulously planned and executed in three phases, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations. In Phase 1, Tri-Phase set up the work area and implemented various preparatory measures, including the installation of hard hoarding and a Level 3 IPAC enclosure. Tri-Phase removed all existing millwork, appliances, furniture, and materials as specified, along with partition walls and all existing piping. All doors and associated frames were also removed. Subsequently, Tri-Phase installed new infrastructure, including hollow metal doors with advanced access control, crash rails, and stainless-steel headwall enclosures. Tri-Phase also customized a bulkhead with an access door to house the services required for the new reprocessor units.
In Phases 2 and 3, new mechanical lines for sinks and endoscopy equipment were run, which included the installation of backflow preventers in designated areas. Once that was completed, Tri-Phase installed new drywall for the ceilings, walls, and the bulkhead containing the new mechanical lines. Next, Tri-Phase supplied and installed new epoxy flooring that met the client’s specifications. Tri-Phase then installed Torvan sinks, along with other new equipment, such as endoscope reprocessing systems and drying cabinets. Additional interior renovations included the installation of Acrovyn sheets in various areas, over 20 access panels and hatches, and new sensor-operated doors. Once the renovation work was completed, Tri-Phase conducted a final clean-up and turned over the room for immediate use.
