Tri-Phase was retained by a healthcare facility to provide soffit repair and replacement on the 5th level of their hospital. The scope of work included the removal and disposal of existing soffit and insulation following Type III asbestos abatement procedures and IPAC procedures. Once the removal was completed, Tri-Phase supplied and installed new batt insulation, soffit material and access panels. There were a total of 7 work areas on the main roof level that underwent this scope of work and required separate abatement enclosures, totalling an area of approximately 12,000 square feet. Throughout the duration of the project, Tri-Phase had to take extra precaution to ensure the roof was protected. Tri-Phase mobilized a crane to haul all materials and disposal items to and from the roof. All infection control procedures were stringently followed throughout the course of work.
